The State of Tennessee-
agreeably of certain articles of ageem, made and Included between--
henly, Nicolas, Byers, David Russle, on the one part and certain head men and warriors of the Cherokee nation of indians the other part. I have surveyed and laid off said Byers, henley and Russle one huindred acres of land both sides of the tn river at the north end of the Unicoy Turnpike companys road n tilable land and fifty acres of timbered land, fifty acres on the north side. Beginning at a stake on the north side of said river in and nearly opposite a bluff the upper boundary of old chota town then north, east south to banl of said river.


One hundred acres on the sdouth side of Tn river to the north east corner of Chota Reservation.
I have surveyed for Nicolas Byers, Arthur H. Henly and david Russle, the bends on the north sode of Lamary River and below the old townof Chota, to the bank of the river at the lower end of said bend about forty poles above the upper end of Toqua island thence up the river as it meanders to the beg.
